Good news, Orange Is The New Black fans. After months of speculation that Laura Prepon would not be returning for Season 2 (or in a much smaller capacity), series creator Jenji Kohan confirms that Laura’s character Alex will be appearing in “most” of Season 2.

Though earlier reports indicated that the former That ‘70s Show star would only be in four of the second season’s 13 episodes, Jenji had another story when she spoke with Us Weekly at the Writers Guild Awards. “Yes, yes, she is coming back,” she said before adding, “Not the whole season, but… you’ll see her for most of it.”

Though it’s still up for debate whether Alex’s story arc on the show will be ending this upcoming season, this is still fantastic news for fans of her complex character and her even more complex relationship with Piper (Taylor Schilling).

We’re also stoked to learn that Season 2 will have a larger focus on Piper and Alex’s fellow inmates. “It's becoming much more of an ensemble," Kohan says of the show’s direction. "As much as I love Piper and Taylor and her journey, I think people are interested in everybody's journey.”
