Can someone grab some tissues from the commissary please? Because we're a little weepy from John Legend's newly-released video for "You & I (Nobody in the World), featuring a cameo from Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox (Sophia Burset). The video takes a peek into the lives of a diverse host of women, including Laverne, comedian Tig Notaro, John's wife Chrissy Teigen, a young girl that appears to have Down's Syndrome, rough-and-tumble female athletes, and in an especially poignant moment, a woman with mastectomy scars.

In Laverne's segment, which starts around two minutes and 15 seconds in, she sits, faces the camera, smiles, then calmly removes her makeup and headscarf. The whole segment lasts around 10 seconds, but, like most of the video's participants, Laverne leaves an impression.

While the song itself seems to be focused on just one woman ("You're my one and only girl/All the stars they don't shine brighter than you are," John repeats in the song's refrain), the video certainly tries to celebrate all kinds of women — and not just in a romantic way. We're hoping y'all don't need John Legend to tell you you're beautiful, ladies… but it's nice to hear, anyway. Watch the video below!
