Orange Is the New Black Season 2 is coming! The much anticipated sophomore season of the Netflix dramedy drops this Friday, June 6, 2014, and until then we're happy to eat up any info about the new season we can get our hands on. In the video above, Taylor Schilling (Piper Chapman) dishes on the new season, and it sounds great.
"I love the idea of people kind of starting out f—ked up and getting even more f—ed up," Taylor says. "I Love that. I think that that's so interesting. To have somebody who's dealing with an identity crisis, and maybe it keeps getting worse. Going from bad to worse. I think that's a really interesting, human situation."
She goes on to say that Season 2 "is everything that Season 1 was, but more. It's deeper, and it's more complicated, and we see more of prison life, and you learn more about more of the characters. It's exciting to watch the show expand. It's very much an ensemble piece, and watching everyone's story get told — that's what I think people can look forward to in Season 2."
Taylor also talks a lot about the real Piper Chapman and why she admires the woman who inspired her character. For all that and more, check out the video above!
