Oscars 2014: Jennifer Lawrence Becomes Youngest-Ever Three-Time Nominee

What did you do in your first 23 years? Did you earn three Academy Award nominations? Yeah, we didn't, either — and that's what separates us from Jennifer Lawrence.

The 23-year-old Kentucky native became the youngest-ever three-time Oscar nominee this morning, January 16, with the announcement of the prestigious award show's nominees for the 2014 ceremony.

J.Law got an Best Supporting Actress nod for her scene-stealing role in American Hustle — playing the outspoken, passive-aggressive spurned wife of Christian Bale's character.

Seems like Oscar voters keep coming back for her. She's like that perfume that you can't stop smellin' even though there's something sour in it. — you can't get enough of it. (Hey, we're not throwing shade here — just quoting her Hustle character!)

In other Oscar records, Meryl Streep's Best Actress nomination for August: Osage County widens her lead as the actress with the most nominations — a whopping 18, which puts her way above runner-up Katharine Hepburn and her 12 nods. (Katharine won four times, though, and Meryl has won three times so far.)

Sounds like Jen already has a good head start on beating Meryl's record, though, and Katharine's if she wins on March 2. Let the games begin!
