Game of Thrones: Our 5 Biggest Questions for Season 5

The Game of Thrones Season 4 finale, “The Children,” left us with more questions heading into the next season than ever. Here are the five things we're the most curious to see the answer to in Season 5.

What’s next for Tyrion? Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) just became a killer, murdering the love of his life and his father. We feel like we’ll see a different, and in all likelihood a darker, Tyrion next season now that he’s just murdered the two people who possibly had the biggest impact on his life. Also, we saw him get on a boat with Varys, but to where? Whatever is next for this fan fave, it's going to be very different than what we've seen from him for the last few seasons, that seems guaranteed.

What’s the effect of Tywin’s death? Tywin (Charles Dance) had been running the show in King’s Landing for a while now, so with him gone, who’s going to be calling the shots? Cersei (Lena Headey)? Margaery (Natalie Dormer)? Tommen?! It should be an interesting power struggle next season, since no one left in King’s Landing possesses the ability to rule like Tywin did.

What’s Bran’s purpose? Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) found an old man in a tree, flame-throwing kids, and dancing skeletons... now what? Bran’s probably the most mysterious character on the show, so we hope to find out more about the meaning of his storyline in Season 5.

Is the Hound dead? Things didn’t look so great for The Hound (Rory McCann) when we last saw him, and he seemed pretty convinced he was a goner. However, we didn’t actually see him die, which is a rarity for this show (see: Syrio Forel), so might he pop up again in Season 5?

What awaits Arya? Arya (Maisie Williams) is on a boat to Braavos, but what will she do there? It’s unlikely she knows anyone in the strange city, unless she runs into the presumed-dead Syrio Forel or the Faceless Man, Jaqen H’ghar (though how she’d recognize the latter we’re not sure). Whatever she ends up doing, we’re betting it aids her on her path of vengeance.
