It’s a boy! Owen Wilson’s second son entered the world on January 30, born to personal trainer Caroline Lindqvist, according to a statement to People magazine. "It was not planned, but they are both excited," the 45-year-old actor’s rep said at the time the pregnancy was announced in October.
“I can confirm they had a baby boy on Thursday morning,” the rep says in a statement. The baby, whose name hasn’t yet been announced, is the first child for Caroline, 41, who was at one time Owen’s personal trainer (and obviously a lot more than that). However, he’ll have a half-brother in Owen’s first son Robert Ford, the three-year-old the Wedding Crashers star co-parents with ex-girlfriend Jade Duell.
There was some buzz at the time of the pregnancy announcement, due to the fact that Caroline is still legally married to another man. However, it sounds like that was for all intents and purposes over before Caroline and Owen hooked up. "Caroline was separated before she got pregnant."
Though it doesn’t appear that the new parents are together romantically, Owen’s no deadbeat dad. When the pregnancy was confirmed, the Wedding Crashers star’s rep assured People, “They are not living together, but Owen is involved [in the pregnancy]. He comes to doctor’s appointments and makes sure Caroline is doing well.”
Congratulations to the happy parents!
