Paris Hilton Releasing Second Album on Cash Money, Featuring Lil Wayne

The long wait is over, folks.

Paris Hilton will release her second studio album on Cash Money, a hip-hop label co-founded by Ronald "Slim" Williams and Bryan "Birdman" Williams.

Apparently the news was first revelaed in a report from Showbizz411's Roger Friedman Sunday night, but the news didn't begin taking hold until Birdman and Paris began tweeting about it yesterday.

When speaking to Roger, Paris said the record will be produced by Afrojack and feature her newly-gained labelmate Lil Wayne, which should add some real star power to the album.

Given the rise of electronic dance music over the past few years, Paris says the new album is "really going to be house music."

"She's been going out to raves for 15 years she told me — ever since she was a little kid — and she loves dance music, so I gave her some dance tracks," Afrojack told Billboard last year at Coachella.

You may remember Paris' first album "Paris" from 2006. That album did pretty well, actually, debuting and peaking at #6 on the Billboard 200 chart and selling almost 200,000 copies.

Her hit single "Stars Are Blind" is definitely catchy, and sold more than 550,000 downloads and reached #18 on the Billboard Hot 100. Other stand-out singles from her first CD include "Turn It Up" and "Nothing In This World."

Get ready to hit the clubs and jam out to some Paris Hilton, y'all.
