According to an eavesdropper who spoke with Us Weekly, Kim wasn’t exactly all smiles at a recent family dinner despite the fact that she’s about to marry the love of her life. “I hope the rain doesn’t ruin my wedding,” the source overheard. “This weather has to get better,” Kim later demanded. “Spring in Paris is meant to be about sunshine, but all we’re getting is rain.”
Even if it does rain on Kim’s parade, she should welcome the precipitation if she’s at all superstitious. Many cultures see rain on the day you tie the knot as a sign of luck and a promise of long-lasting love, good fortune, and fertility. As an old adage says, “It’s harder to untie a wet knot than a dry one.”
For the record, there was plenty of sunshine the day Kim married Kris Humphries... just sayin’.
