Game of Thrones Parody: “A Character I Used to Know” (VIDEO)

Game of Thrones has inspired a seemingly infinite number of parodies, but this Gotye-inspired musical number from YouTube comedy group Not Literally Productions is definitely one of our favorites.

The video is a song called "A Character I Used to a Know" (to the tune of "Somebody That I Used to Know," duh), and it is a hilariously accurate portrayal of the experience of watching the first season of Game of Thrones.

"Now and then I think back to twenty-eleven," the lyrics begins. "Back in Season 1 when all the characters were alive." Sigh. The good old days. "Tell myself that it was just TV / But didn't know it meant so much to me / And though it's just fiction it's an ache I still remember." We can all relate to that...
