Patrick Dempsey and Wife Jillian Are Ready to Adopt a Child — Report
There could be another McBaby in the mix soon, if you believe the tabloids!
Apparently, Patrick Dempsey and wife Jillian have made such a turnaround in their marriage ever since their near-divorce that they’re ready to adopt.
In the ensuing months, they were spotted taking romantic strolls in Paris and frolicking in the waves at St. Barts, suggesting a reconciliation. (He later said they saved the marriage by having more sex.)
Now they wanna give a new sibling to their kids, 15-year-old Talula and 10-year-old twin sons Darby and Sullivan — or so In Touch Weekly claims.
“They’re ready to adopt a child,” a source tells the magazine. “They’ve already met with a lawyer to make it happen.”
In Touch claims they wouldn’t mind if the child were a toddler but do want the child to be from the United States.
“Welcoming another child signifies Patrick’s commitment to the family,” the source adds.
“Their marriage is finally back on track. If all goes according to plan, they’ll have a new member of the family by the end of this year.”
Take this In Touch scoop with some heaping tablespoons of salt, of course — just like we did a month ago when Radar Online tried claiming Patrick and Jillian were on the outs again because he was “playing Russian Roulette with his marriage.”
Even without a fourth child, however, these spouses of 17 years are proof positive that second chances are possible, even in Hollywood. More power to ‘em!
