Lisa Niemi, Patrick Swayze's widow, has found a new man to dance with.
Lisa — who was married to Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze for 34 years until his death from pancreatic cancer in September 2009 — got engaged to jeweler Albert DePrisco on December 24, according to People. Lisa is 57, and Albert is 58.
"Albert proposed to Lisa on Christmas Eve," says Lisa's rep. The pair have reportedly been dating for a year and a half after meeting via mutual friends at Lisa's birthday.
Lisa met Patrick back in the '70s through the Houston Ballet Dance Company, as they both were dancers. They married in 1975, when Lisa was just 19. They later moved to L.A., where they ran a construction business together and also raised horses. They did not have any children.
Lisa has worked in Hollywood as a choreographer and actor, co-starring with Patrick in the 1987 film Steel Dawn and 2004's Beat Angel. Lisa also directed an episode of Patrick's TV show, The Beast.
A year after Patrick's death, Lisa said she was open to finding love again. "I hope I’m not one of these women who never want to have another relationship," she had said.
