Ian Somerhalder is typically the center of attention for being a smoldering hunk, but his Vampire Diaries co-star Paul Wesley revealed an entirely different reason why Ian was front and center recently.

“I make fun of Ian all the time. One time we told Ian that we changed the cameras and the network was cutting the budget and there would be no filters and he was getting very stressed out that he didn't look good on camera,” he revealed at EyeCon, a TVD convention in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 3. “We kept that going for a while.”

And while pranks are played around set all the time, most of them are centered around. It’s a running joke. “Everybody loves to make fun of Ian,” Paul added. “One of the crew members wore a T-shirt of Ian Somerhalder during his old modeling days. [In the photo] he kind of had his back arched, and he was shirtless and kind of looking at the camera,” he added, showing off the pose with a smirk.

“What about when he dressed up as Stefan?” a fan asked in response, referencing the glorious time that Ian dressed up as Paul.

“That was during Halloween and I wasn’t there,” he said. “I’m glad I wasn’t there.”

Well, we wish we were there, and we also want one of those shirts. Paul, can you FedEx one to us ASAP? Thanks!
