Sometimes, the Internet swallows videos up that should be seen by all. This is the case with a vid taken during last year’s Crimson Sky, aka The Vampire Diaries fan conference. It shows co-stars Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) and Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) breaking it down on stage — and it’s probably the best thing you’ve seen all day, and possibly ever.

We’re not sure how the boys get on the topic of Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby,” but it probably had something to do with Paul, who seems to adore the 90s classic. By the time Ian starts beatboxing, it is pretty much a given that they are both going to break out into song.

After the rendition, Ian teases Paul about his appreciation for the song, telling the audience, “When you meet Paul Wesley, and you’re talking to him and you’re hugging on him, I just want you to know: that’s what he’s thinking.” Hey, if we get to hug Paul, we’ll take it.

Paul doesn’t deny it. Instead, he thinks the song could be incorporated into his convention entrances: “Actually, anytime I come on stage, I want ‘Ice Ice Baby,’” Paul says. That could probably be arranged. As long as you bring your beatboxing on-screen brother with you. We love these two together!

What do you think of Ian and Paul’s performance? And why haven’t they sung on the show? Sound off in the comments below!

The Vampire Diaries airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
