Unfortunately, tragic overspray continues to be a major issue in the United States, especially in teens and young adults. It’s an epidemic that’s only seeming to grow — one that Paul Wesley wants to put a stop to for good.

As a young guy himself, Paul knows first-hand just how hard the transition from youth to adulthood can be. Luckily, the Vampire Diaries star is willing to use his own experiences to educate others, and he’s doing so alongside the manliest of brands, Old Spice.

On Monday, January 13, Paul stepped out for the launch of the “Scent Responsibly” education campaign, which seeks to end this overspraying once and for all. Teaming up with everyone’s favorite TV mom Patrick Heaton, as well as the Old Spice Mom Choir, Paul celebrated what it means to “Smellcome to Manhood.” The TVD heartthrob introduced a new line of manly-scented body sprays with the brand’s all-new, innovative Re-Fresh Technology. These products eliminate the need to overspray at first application or even reapply throughout the day.

If it’s good enough for Paul Wesley, these dudes should take note. The spray that lasts all day is clearly the only choice!
