The movie, When the Bough Breaks, addresses the issue of postpartum depression, and Peggy is one of the women who describes her struggles with it. "I've been suffering from postpartum depression for the past three years," Peggy said in her interview for the film. "I was having really dark days," she adds, pointing out that she "wouldn't want to get out of bed."
Peggy reveals that she wondered at one time if she should "just go push myself down the stairs because I don't know if I can have another baby 'cause I don't know if I can go through this again." Wow.
The movie's filmmaker's are hoping to raise $50,000 through crowdsourcing website Indiegogo, which will go toward covering post-production for the film. The fundraising began on March 3 and stays open until May 2.

We think it's brave that Peggy is so open about her struggles with postpartum depression, and we have our fingers crossed that the film is able to come together.
Are you hoping that this movie gets made? And did you know that Peggy had dealt with this?
