The Voice 2014: Best Performance From the Battle Rounds 2 — March 31 (VIDEO)

Throwing viewers for a loop, The Voice 2014 Season 6 introduced a second set of battle rounds, where our favorite contestants once again went toe-to-toe in a duet — this time, with a song of their own choosing. The night was filled with several unforgettable performances that got the coaches on their feet and reaching for their red buttons, but of course there were a few that stood out above the rest.

Team Adam Levine’s Christina Grimmie and Sam Behymer were pretty even during their battle to OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars,” as was Team Usher’s battle between TJ Wilkins and Cierra Mickens to Oleta James’s “Get Here.”

Team Blake Shelton’s battle between Jake Worthington and Tess Boyer to “Have a Little Faith In My” by John Hiatt was sensational, with Tess proving to be a true contender — and coaches Usher, Shakira, and Adam Levine all vied to have her on their teams. But as great as this battle was, the standout of the evening had to be between Team Adam’s Josh Kaufman and Delvin Choice to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours.”

Between Josh’s smooth, sweet vocals and Delvin’s monster of a voice, the pairing was a battle to behold. The battle was so great, in fact, that when Delvin was deemed the winner, Josh found a new home on Team Usher.
