The Voice: Best Performance From the Season 6 Battle Rounds 2 — April 7, 2014 (VIDEO)

Last night, April 7, saw the last night of the new Battle Rounds 2 on The Voice 2014 Season 6 and it sure didn’t disappoint. While the night was filled with performances from the last set of singers on each of the four coaches’ teams, only a few of the performances really stood out to us.

Team Shakira’s Dani Moz and Clarissa Serna’s duet to P!nk’s “F—n’ Perfect” was a great way to start out the night with an energetic power anthem. In addition, Team Adam Levine’s beloved duo Dawn & Hawkes battled it out against powerhouse Kat Perkins’s to KT Tunstall’s “Suddenly I See” and made for a pretty interesting performance. And while Team Usher’s Bria Kelly and Madilyn Paige’s battle to “I’ll Stand By You” by The Pretenders did round out the night (and saw both ladies continuing on), we have to admit that one battle stole the show for us.

Team Blake Shelton’s battle between Ryan Whyte Maloney and Kaleigh Glanton really caught our eyes and ears. Their duet to “Easy” by Rascal Flatts and Natasha Bedingfield (though shaky) was a pleasant mix and we finally got to see what Ryan was made of in the ring. At the end of the battle, Ryan was left standing victorious, but will he be able to keep a spot on Team Blake after tonight’s live playoffs? We’ll just have to wait and see!
