The Voice 2014: Best Performance From the Season 6 Playoffs — April 15, 2014 (VIDEO)

Last night saw the final night of The Voice 2014 Season 6 playoffs with the members of Team Usher vying for the three remaining Live Show spots. Each artist selected songs that mean something special to him or her and they all performed with relentless passion. While the five vocalists did their absolute best last night, a couple stood out above the rest.

We thought favorite Stevie Jo did an impressive job with his rendition of “The Thrill Is Gone” by B.B. King, proving to the audience what kind of soul singer he’d like to be — and that he has the chops to do so. And while Josh Kaufman’s cover of the Bruno Mars song “There Will Be Rain” landed him one of the three spots on the Live Shows, we were more impressed by T.J. Wilkins’ interpretation of “Tell Me Something Good” by RUFUS and Chaka Khan.

But of course, there was a jewel of the night and that was none other than blues singer Bria Kelly with her performance of “Wild Horses” by The Rolling Stones. While Bria did overshoot a little too much for our taste on some parts of the song, we have to admit it was great seeing her bring back that fiery attitude she seemed to have lost during the battle rounds.

And this was (obviously) the reason that Usher brought her along for the Live Shows.
