Perrie Edwards Implies She “Faked It” With Zayn Malik in New Little Mix Song
Perrie Edwards has officially moved on from Zayn Malik.
The 23-year-old was devastated after the former One Direction singer called off their engagement last year, but she’s getting her revenge with a brand new song.
“Shout Out to My Ex,” which is Little Mix’s new single, isn’t even trying to hide the fact it’s about her ex-fiancé.
According to The Sun, some of the lyrics include, "I hope she gettin' better sex, Hope she ain't fakin' it like I did, babe,” which could be a reference to the 23-year-old’s new girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.
"Guess I should say thank you, For the 'hate yous' and the tattoos, Oh baby I'm cool by the way, Ain't sure I loved you anyway,” another lyric reads.
Little Mix, which is made up of Perrie, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, won the UK version of The X-Factor in 2011.
"It’s all about moving on after a relationship ends to bigger and better things, and leaving the past where it should be,” said Jade.
"I think it’s always easier to write about your experiences through music because more people can relate to them anyway,” said Jesy.
The “Pillowtalk” crooner began dating his supermodel girlfriend shortly after splitting with the British pop star.
Meanwhile, Perrie has moved on with actor Luke Pasqualino and was spotted kissing him at Leigh Anne’s 25th birthday party over the weekend.
"They snuck away to a corner and weren't making it obvious to everyone else at the party,” a source to the Daily Mirror.
We can’t wait to hear this new song!
