Joseph Morgan and Persia White Ring in 2014 With Adorable Selfie (PHOTO)
It’s time to ring in another holiday with one of our favorite television couples: OriginalsstarJoseph Morgan and girlfriend Persia White. The lovebirds met on the set of The Vampire Diarieswhen Persia was playing judgy witch parent Abby Bennett, and have quickly become one of the oh-so-adorable highlights of our social media coverage. How did JoMo and Persia celebrate the New Year?
“Happy New Year from @RealPersiaWhite and myself,” Joseph tweeted on New Year’s Eve, along with a selfie snapshot of he and Persia grinning at the camera. These two do make us smile! In September, Joseph dished to Huffington Post Liveabout his lady love, saying: “You know, I’m very happy, it’s great. I’m lucky enough, she came with me to New York to enjoy a little bit of the city. I get the weekend off so we get to experience a little of that. But that’s all I’m going to put out there, I’m going to keep the rest for myself.” Aww.
Persia is super-supportive of Joseph, often tweeting about how much she loves The Originals. In October, Persia couldn’t contain her excitement about a new episode, tweeting: “Ahhhh!!! I can't wait to watch THE ORIGINALS tonight! The best new show on TV. yeah I said it. @cworiginals #theoriginals #Klaus.” And these two seem to have the same goofy sense of humor, having fun with silly masks at the TVD 100th episode celebration.
New Year’s Eve wasn’t the only holiday the couple spent together. The couple was in Joseph’s native England to celebrate Christmas, both sharing adorable holiday wishes on their Twitter accounts for their many followers. “MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I'm in the U.K having an amazing time with family and loved ones. May you all have a warm and beautiful holiday,” Persia tweeted on the big day. Not to be outdone by Joseph’s own holiday greetings: “Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night ;),” he tweeted. Have we mentioned that we love them?
Catch the next episode of The Originals on Tuesday, January 14 at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
