It shouldn’t surprise us that Originals star Joseph Morgan (Klaus) and wife Persia White have such talented on-camera dogs. Joseph and Persia are both amazing thespians and their rescue dogs obviously take after them when it comes to on-screen presence. Check out the adorable video of dogs Kingston and Rue…

“Our rescue dogs, Kingston and Rue's 1st film together. More to come soon.... #adoptdontshop #superdogs2therescue,” Persia tweeted, along with a link to a video featuring the pups running cheerfully through a field of grass set to Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run.” Yep, it’s pretty much the sweetest thing you will see all day. The video ends with the on-screen message: “Millions of rescue dogs like us need loving arms to run home to! Adopt.”

If you didn’t get enough Kingston and Rue in the video (trust us — you haven’t), then check out Persia’s Twitter page for some seriously adorable shots of the dogs. This one has Rue giving Kingston a hug. Persia captioned it: “We all love Kingston.... even Rue wants to hold him! Could it be love?” Well, we don’t know about the dogs, but we’re definitely in love with these sweet pups. Keep the photos coming, Persia!

Do you think Rue and Kingston are destined for stardom? Sound off in the comments below!

The Originals airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
