Now that Love & Hip Hop Season 4 star Peter Gunz is officially the “bad guy” thanks to his decision to marry his artist, Amina Buddafly, while living with his girlfriend of 13 years, this guy is totally feeling the heat. In a recent interview, Peter admitted that what he did was terrible and that he was “wrong” for marrying Amina.
“I know y’all want to kill me out there. All the women want to kill me out there. I’m only giving my best explanation and that’s not excuses. It’s wrong. It’s dead wrong,” he admitted to The Breakfast Club in a recent interview.
When he was asked why he married Amina in the first place, he explains that he and Tara were in a “dark place” and he didn’t want Amina to leave before he finally ended things with his baby mama.
“Just to show Amina — ‘wait for me. I promise you,’” said Peter. “I jumped out the window and I did something I regret because Tara didn’t deserve that. She deserved for me to come out and say… ‘I'm out.’”
Well, it looks like Peter will finally say “I’m out” (or will he?) in the upcoming episode of Love & Hip Hop airing Monday, November 11. The “Uptown Baby” rapper confronts Tara about the situation and Tara doesn’t take it lightly — at all. Despite Peter saying that Tara had an inkling all along about his affair with Amina, Tara gets physical with Peter… and all of his belongings.
The kicker of it all? Peter is still in love with Tara… even though he’s a married man. But he knows that this time his “double life situation” isn’t going to be easily forgiven.
““Tara is dope, man. And I gotta say it again: I’m still very much in love with Tara. I love her, but she’s just done,” Peter says. Sigh.
