Peter Thomas Confirms Real Househusbands of Atlanta Spin-Off! (VIDEO)

It’s no secret Real Housewives of Atlanta is the most successful show of the Housewives franchise with nearly all of the ladies popular enough to have had their own spin-off at one point or another. Why shouldn’t the men get in on the fun too? Well, now they will thanks to a little love from Bravo.

The network tested the Househusband waters a bit after Season 6 by airing a Husbands Revealed special in which Kandi Burruss’s man Todd Tucker, Cynthia Bailey’s hubby Peter Thomas, Phaedra Parks’ other half Apollo Nida, and NeNe Leakes’ honey Gregg Leakes sat down to chat about all that went down on RHoA. Apparently the special was a big enough hit that Bravo is willing to bring the men together on a more regular basis.

That is, at least, what Peter’s saying. On the red carpet for the Debra Lee PRE dinner on June 28, Peter had this to say about rumors a Real Househusbands of Atlanta spin-off is in the works: “It’s something that they want to do every year, at the end of the year I believe. They want to do like at least three or four of them, yeah.”

So while it doesn’t sound like it will be a full-fledged spin-off à la Kandis Wedding, more Househusbands sound like they’re for sure in our future. Todd and Apollo (who is waiting to be sentenced for fraud charges) alone provide enough drama, but we’re glad Peter and Gregg will be there as well.

“It’s something that we’re looking forward to,” Peter continued. Given that the Husbands Revealed special back in May brought in more than 2 million viewers we bet Bravo is looking forward to it also! Who knows, maybe Porsha Williams’s new man will put in an appearance as well. After all, we’re expecting to meet him on the upcoming season of RHoA...
