RHOA’s Phaedra Parks: My Kids Won’t Be Visiting Apollo In Prison (UPDATE)

UPDATE (7/20/017 11:25a.m. ET):

Phaedra Parks & Apollo Nida of Real Housewives of Atlanta fame recently reached a divorce settlement after a long and arduous court battle, but unfortunately for the father, one request of his has reportedly been denied by the mother of his two boys.

While the former fitness trainer pushed for occasional jail visits from his two sons, Ayden, 7 and Dylan, 4, Phaedra fervently argued against it, with the judge agreeing that weekly phone calls were sufficent, according to TheJasmineBrand.

Original story (7/12/2017 1:13p.m. ET):

Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida have been on the path towards divorce for years, with plenty of roadblocks on the way.

Finally, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta couple have reached a divorce settlement, meaning they can both go their separate ways once and for all.

The couple have officially agreed on spousal support and the division of marital assets, according to TMZ.

Documents linked to the judgement have been marked confidential, leaving things unclear as to who got what.

The recently fired Housewife will have primary custody of their two boys while Apollo finishes his time in prison. The 38-year-old is currently serving eight years for fraud.

He will, however, be granted two phone calls a week to speak with his young children.

The ruling comes almost three years after the couple first filed for divorce in October of 2014.

Phaedra was granted a divorce late last year, but the ruling was overturned in March, as Apollo felt the decision was made through manipulative means.

A new judge agreed the ruling was unfair to Apollo, suggesting the 43-year-old reality star purposefully misled her soon-to-be-ex-husband and "intentionally [misspelled] the parties' names."

Documents suggested currently engaged Apollo was lead to believe he'd be able to attend future divorce hearings, despite being in jail.

That was never the case, hence the judge's concern he’d been misled, or worse, blatantly lied to.
