Unfortunately for Apollo Nida, he was sentenced to eight years behind bars just as Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 began filming. He hasn’t turned himself in to jail yet, but he’s expected to do so in the coming weeks, and we’re curious to know if any of his legal drama will be featured on the current season of the hit Bravo show.

Apollo hadn’t been publicly seen with his wife, RHoA star Phaedra Parks, since Kandi Burruss’ wedding on April 4, but that all changed last week when the couple were apparently spotted shooting scenes for the show. “Bravo is getting some shooting done with them before Apollo goes to prison,” a Bravo insider confirmed to RadarOnline.com. “They began shooting the new season and they will be filming some stuff with Apollo about the situation.”

Talk show host Wendy Williams also confirmed that Phaedra and Apollo were seen filming “at a park in Atlanta,” so apparently Apollo will at least be seen on the show. Given that he’s involved in ongoing legal proceedings, we don’t know how much (if anything) he’s allowed to say about his upcoming jail time, but we can’t imagine the show will ignore it entirely.

The Bravo source goes onto say that even though it doesn’t look like Phaedra is supporting Apollo — he’s still “salty” that she didn’t come to his sentencing and recently admitted he doubts their marriage will last — she’s likely just dealing with this whole mess in her own way. “It sounds like she’s just trying to keep busy and that’s her way of staying strong,” the insider revealed.

Do you think we should see Apollo’s legal drama on RHoA, or is it too personal? Weigh in below!
