Earlier this summer Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years behind bars for bank fraud and identity theft, with the understanding that he would turn himself over to the authorities at a later date. Finally, that date has been determined, says RadarOnline.com.

According to the site, court documents state that Phaedra Parks’s husband must report to the FMC Lexington prison in Lexington, Kentucky, on September 10 at noon. That means that Apollo has under two weeks to spend with his family — including young sons Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 1 — before he is locked away for a long time.

Apollo allegedly created fake companies, which in turn allowed him access to various databases of people to rip off. He then opened fake bank accounts under those real names and reportedly funneled stolen U.S. Treasury checks and auto loan proceeds into said accounts. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he also is said to have opened a phony auto dealership and applied for car loans in the names of the stolen identities.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star officially entered a guilty plea back in May, and in addition to spending eight years behind bars, Apollo must also pay nearly $2 million in restitution. Phaedra wasnot at Apollo’s sentencing earlier this summer — which left him feeling “salty” and lead him to admit that he doesn’t think their marriage will last — so there’s no telling if she will be by his side when he surrenders to authorities in just a few days. For her part, Phae-Phae is currently enjoying a mystery vacation with her RHoA co-stars, which will air as part of the show’s seventh season later this year.

Are you surprised that Apollo has to turn himself in so soon? Weigh in below!
