Fact: Pharrell Williams might just be the best producer of all time. This hitmaker was born in Virginia and founded his massively successful group, The Neptunes, after meeting Chad Hugo (his musical partner) in summer band camp, and the rest is history! Since then, Pharrell and Chad have produced countless songs for the Kings and Queens of pop, including Britney Spears' "I'm a Slave 4 U" –– which was their first hit!

The Neptunes reached number one after they produced Nelly's "Hot in Herre" in 2002, which helped them nab the coveted Producers of the Year trophy at the Billboard Music Awards. But the fun doesn't stop there. Pharrell and Chad also released a few albums under the name N.E.R.D, and in 2004 Pharrell showed up at the Grammy Awards for a jaw-dropping performance of The Beatles' "I Saw Her Standing There" with Sting, Dave Matthews, and Vince Gill. Oh, and he won two awards the same night –– one for Producer of the Year and one for Best Pop Vocal Album for his work on Justin Timberlake's Justified!

Pharrell released his much-anticipated solo album, In My Mind, in 2005, and despite the fact that it wasn't a smash success, this dude got back in the big leagues with the release of Clipse's Hell Hath No Fury. Since then, Pharrell has worked with Beyonce, Britney Spears (because why not?), The Hives, The Strokes, Shakira, The Game, Jennifer Lopez, and Madonna! Oh, and let's not forget about the time he composed the music for the 84th Academy Awards. No big deal.

Pharrell is currently working on albums with Lupe Fiasco and Waka Flocka, and he's in the studio with Miley Cyrus! Oh, and this renaissance man spends his free-time designing clothes for his line –– when he's not busy sculpting (yes, you read that right), and working on Kidult, an entertainment website for teens.

Make sure to check Pharrell out on NBC's The Voice, where he'll be mentoring his bro Usher's team during the battle rounds!
