Phoebe Tonkin Shows Off Hayley’s Baby Bump With Sexy Werewolf Co-Stars (PHOTO)
The werewolf party Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) threw in the last episode of The Originalsmaynot have gone exactly to plan, but it doesn’t look like it will be Hayley’s last chance to bond with her werewolf clan. Check out Phoebe’s Instagram snapshot hanging with her werewolf co-stars.
“Ugh wolves am I right?” Phoebe captioned the photo of herself, Nathan Parsons (Jackson), and Chase Coleman (Oliver) hanging together on The Originals set. In the pic, Phoebe has her hands up in the air in a faux-exasperated expression, and Nathan and Chase are touching the fake baby bump she’s sporting for her role as the pregnant werewolf. Elijah would not be happy about this.
We’re kind of glad to see the Crescent clan werewolves back, though. Hayley hasn’t had much storyline to work with so far in The Originals, so it’s nice to see her character get something to do besides flirt with Elijah and not leave the compound. Family has been important to Hayley since we first met her on The Vampire Diaries, so it makes sense that she would do almost anything to reverse the curse put on her clan.
But, seriously, Elijah isn’t going to be happy about Hayley’s relationship with werewolf hunk Jackson. Executive producer Julie Plec told E! Online: “This idea of her attention falling towards these people and her sense of family unity and family bond drawing her towards them and away from the Originals is a lot for Elijah to handle. And then once, ultimately, if he's ever able to stand face to face with Jackson, he might be like, ‘Wait a second, who's this guy? I'm not so sure I like this guy.'" Bring on the angst, show! We’re ready for it.

The Originals returns on Tuesday, February 25 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
