After some writers created a parody Twitter account, @PippaTips, parodying the “glaringly obvious” advice given in Pippa’s party planning book, the Royal Sister-In-Law is reportedly taking legal action.
While Pippa’s book, Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends, covered party planning and etiquette, @PippaTips is all about general, glaringly obvious lifestyle tips. The @PippaTips authors’ upcoming, corresponding book, What to Expect When One is Expecting: a Posh Guide to Pregnancy and Parenting, mainly focuses on Kate’s current jam: having babies.
While the @PippaTips Twitter account is “clearly a parody,” according to its description, Pippa is still pretty outraged. Her legal team has sent a cease and desist letter.
Some of the no-brainer parody advice includes “dressing up in nice clothes is a stylish way to look great at a party,” “a nice hat can help keep the sun off, simply place on your head et voila - your own personal, portable shade,” and “make it easier for your friends to enjoy TV shows they haven't watched yet by telling them what happens.”
