According to a recent report, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom will make it through this year as man and wife — but not much further than that. 2014 is the year of the big D (as in divorce), an unnamed source tells HollywoodLife.com.
Of course, this isn’t exactly a bombshell, but why then and not now? It’s all about timing. The source reports that Khloe wants to postpone until after the holidays. But that’s not the only thing holding her back.
“Not only does Khloe want to wait until after the holidays, she also wants to wait to see if Lamar will sign with an NBA team [because] she would want him to finish the season drama free.” If that’s the case, then Khloe wouldn’t file until April at the earliest, according to people who know stuff about sportsball (i.e., not us).
That also works out well for her Keeping Up With the Kardashians schedule, which the source claims is another important factor in the timing. “She wants to work around the television show storylines. As crazy as this all sounds Khloe is business first, divorce afterwards.”
That’s an awfully cynical view of our girl Khloe, who’s always given us the impression that family comes first for her. The cynicism doesn’t end there, either. While we’ll continue to hold out hope that the delay in filing can lead to a reconciliation, the Kardashian insider says there’s no chance. “It’s not a matter of if she’ll file, it’s a matter of when.”
Do you think Khloe’s just waiting for the right time to file, or is she still on the fence?
