Pretty Little Liars Star Ashley Benson Gives Back During the Holidays — What Did She Do? (PHOTO)

Christmas is a time for giving, and Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson seemed to take that mantra to heart this holiday season. What did she do to give back this Christmas?

“Had so much fun hanging out with all the kids today at the children's hospital,” Ashley captioned a recent photo of from the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. Apparently, Ash spent some time on Christmas Eve hanging with the kids who are currently receiving treatment there. We love that the busy starlet takes the time to give back, even during the crazy holiday season!

Ash seems to make a real point in lending her celebrity (and self) to worthy causes. Last month, she donated her time to Cosmopolitan magazine and Maybelline’s Kisses For The Troops campaign at Duffy Times Square in New York City. "Soooo much fun today #cosmokisses," Ashley wrote along with an Instagram photo of herself blowing a kiss. Girl after our own heart!

Ashley certainly has kept busy during the PLL filming hiatus. In addition to lending herself to the aforementioned causes, Ash has been hard at work on a new indie film. Not much is known about the flick, but that it is filming in NYC with Ash and Orange is the New Black star Matt McGorry. The busy actress also somehow found the time to support her Pretty Little Liars co-star Keegan Allen on the closing night of his Off Broadway play, Small Engine Repair. Breaks are overrated anyway, right?

Catch the Pretty Little Liars Season 4 winter premiere on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
