Pornstar August Ames’s Tragic Text Before She Committed Suicide Revealed

Pornstar August Ames was "depressed" in the weeks leadng up to her suicide, it has been revealed.
The 23-year-old hung herself on December 5 after being embroiled in a homophobia scandal.
Now, a close friend has given a glimpse into her mindset before she made the tragic decision to end her life.
On November 18, August text Keisha Grey in what appears to be a cry for help.
"I’ve been depressed.
"And it seems like ppl [sic] are being dicks and I just wanted to let you know that you can talk to me if you ever want to."
Keisha, who is also a porn star, tweeted their conversation yesterday with the caption "RIP."

This is tragic news.
Porn star August Ames sadly passed away at the age of 23 after she was accused of being homophobic.
The starlet, who had acted in over 270 films, was found dead inside her home in Camarillo, California.

She died of asphyxiation due to hanging.
According to The Blast, there were no signs of foul play, but friends close to to August say she did suffer from depression.
In fact, online bullying may have played a part in her death after she was slammed for being homophobic on Twitter earlier this month.
August complained about doing a scene with an actor who had previously done gay porn on December 2.
“Whichever (lady) performer is replacing me tomorrow for @EroticaXNews, you’re shooting with a guy who has shot gay porn, just to let cha know,” she wrote.

People went crazy and tweeted her hateful comments, even though she clarified her tweet later in the day.

Meanwhile, after her death, fans were forced to defend August from hurtful comments.
“Seeing jokes about a woman’s suicide because she starred in adult films. F—k you people,” one person shared.
“You’re disgusting. Her life was just as valuable than [sic] anyone else’s. How heartless can you be?!” another said.
“It’s f—ked up that August Ames died and everyone has porn jokes.”
