Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore both joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta at the start of Season 5, but after a tense second encounter at Porsha’s charity event last year they haven’t gotten along since.
But let’s fast-forward to the Season 6 cast trip to Savannah. After a night out the ladies decided to put together a home-cooked Southern feast. All was going great until an unexpected guest decided to drop by the dinner. And no, we’re not talking about the ghosts of housewives past.
As the ladies chowed down on the delicious food, a flying cockroach entered the dining room and sent most of the housewives screaming into the nearby kitchen. Somewhat surprisingly, pampered Porsha and beauty queen Kenya were the only people not scared by the flying critter, so they teamed up to kill him.
After some skilful manoeuvres involving shoes and a roll of paper towels, the co-stars successfully brought down the bug together. During Porsha’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live last Sunday, a caller mentioned that the insect seemed to finally bring Porsha and Kenya together.
“That was so fun, that was a really good bonding experience,” Porsha noted. “It was over a roach, but it was a bonding experience!”
When Andy mentioned that it looked like the duo had “real moment,” Porsha seemed to get confused, saying, “Yeah I had a Porsha Moment, that was a Porsha Moment like a little blackout there,” likely thinking that Andy was referring to her Underground Railroad snafu and not the time she spent with Kenya. But hey, at least Porsha admits they bonded!
