Porsha Williams Performs “Flatline” Live for the First Time on 106 & Park (VIDEO)

Well, it’s official: Porsha Williams is a bonafide R&B star. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star dropped her debut single, “Flatline,” on March 17, and it immediately skyrocketed to the top of the iTunes R&B charts. And to cement her status as potentially one of the most successful Housewife singers, she was invited to appear on BET’s 106 & Park yesterday to promote her sudden hit!

Porsha revealed lots of juicy tidbits during her “106 Hot Seat” segment, including the lowdown on her love life, changing her last name, and, of course, Kenya Moore. But the best part of her appearance, hands down, was when she busted out her song for the audience, live and acapella!

“I want Porsha to sing live a little bit of her song,” the VJ says, before Porsha willingly gets up, dusts herself off, and prepares to sing the tune sans musical accompaniment. We can’t imagine Kim Zolciak or LuAnn De Lesseps ever going without a backing track — this girl’s got nerves of steel.

So how did she sound? You will have to watch below and decide for yourself. To our ears, she was doing pretty well for most of it, but lost her footing at the end when she attempted to move up a key. Meanwhile, the audience looked pretty impressed, and she’s got one big fan in the form of Bow Wow, who attempted to propose to her afterwards.

Hey, we can’t argue that this reality starlet’s got raw talent and with a great team behind her, she’s going to make it far!

What did you think of Porsha’s first performance of her single? Tell us in the comments below.
