Rihanna Releases “Pour It Up” Music Video — All We See Is Dollar Signs

All those pole-dancing lessons, all those racy flapper-like outfits, all that rolling around in US currency, and that weird fishnet bodysuit — it has all led up to this epic moment: Rihanna has finally released the music video for her hit "Pour It Up," after days of hyping the video with Instagram teases.

The new video seems to be set in some sort of dream-like, foggy, and marginally-flooded strip club — with Rihanna reigning from a golden throne while, ahem, "adult dancers" do their thing amid an inch of water on the floor.

With the new video, RiRi's message seems to be, "Miley Cyrus, twerk your heart out." The video features the professionals shaking their butts low — even twerking in the shallow water so that their undulating butts create huge splashes.

The video is a surprisingly literal adaptation of the song. As Rihanna sings about "strippers going up and down that pole," strippers really do go up and down the poles.

And as she sings about "throwing it up," she throws cash into the air as she sits enveloped in a fur coat on her throne.

Yeah, not too much metaphor here.
