Kim Zolciak Praises Kroy Biermann as He Continues to Recover From His Injury (VIDEO)
Several months ago, Kim Zolciak’s husband, Kroy Biermann, tore his Achilles tendon during a game against the St. Louis Rams, and was placed on injured reserve shortly thereafter. Kroy was sidelined for the remainder of the season and has been in rehab (following surgery to repair his tendon) ever since.
Now, roughly four months after suffering the devastating blow in September, Kroy is slowly but surely getting back to himself. Though the Atlanta Falcons are currently done for the season, the dad of six has every hope of playing again next season. TheAtlanta Journal Constitution talked to Kroy in the Falcons locker room, where he gave an update on how the rehab process is going. “I’m on track if not maybe a little ahead of schedule. I feel great, and I’ve got faith in everybody here and where we’re going and what we’re doing. Everything feels good,” he says in the video below.
It’s hard not to admire Kroy’s tenacity and can-do attitude, and it’s clear that Kim is in awe of her hubby as he continues to recover. Last week she posted a photo of Kory watching a Falcons game from the sidelines, and wrote this touching caption to go with it: “I'm soooo ready to see you back in action next year!!! I know how hard it was for you to watch this season when you weren't able to play! Your strength, tenacity, commitment, positivity and passion is contagious! You have had the best attitude through your recovery never once did you complain! You were ‘never’ injured when people would ask how your recovery was doing. The example you set for our children is incredible. I am so proud of you Kroy!!!”
Excuse us while we reach for the tissues. Kim and Kroy’s love is palpable, and their devotion to one another is truly admirable. We hope that Kroy makes a full recovery and continues to play for the Falcons but there is a possibility that the team could drop him from the roster next season if they so choose. For the sake of the couple’s six kids, we really hope that doesn’t happen.
