Pregnant Kate Middleton’s Baby “Could Be In Danger”: Report
There are a lot of reasons to be excited about the impending arrival of pregnant Kate Middleton's bundle of joy, but there may be a reason for concern as well.
Ken Wharfe, who was a bodyguard for Princess Diana and was Prince William's boyhood bodyguard, tells Look magazine that he's worried about the safety of Kate and William's little one.
"Kate’s baby could be in danger," the bodyguard says. "Given the political state of the world and the vulnerability of the royals, they need a lot of protection."
"In this terror-ridden world of ours, there’s a real risk of kidnap for this child," he adds.
The bodyguard says that he used to feel comfortable taking Prince William out in public, but that won't be the case for Kate's baby.
"The world is a much more dangerous place than it was 20 years ago, when we would take William and Harry out," he explains.
So how can the parents-to-be ensure that nothing happens to their royal tyke?
"What they will have to do is surround themselves with police, which could be a multi-million pound operation," the British security expert says.
And here we thought that the biggest problem facing Kate and William these days was deciding on how big their baby's teddy bear should be.
