The network (via Entertainment Weekly) announced that this summer, instead of bringing the Bachelor Nation alumni back to the Mansion for Season 4 of Bachelor Pad, they’ll be taking things to a hotter, steamier locale. And while we’ve been waiting since September 2012 for the babes of summer to hit our TV screens once again, ABC has finally announced the date our dreams come true: August 4, 2014!
The six-episode series follows the show’s regular summer programming path, and it will piggyback off the end of Andi Dorfman’s sure-to-be-stellar round of The Bachelorette, whose Season 10 finale will likely be on Monday, July 28.
We’re already rounding up names in our minds for a dream premiere season. Perhaps a Clare Crawley/Drew Kenney dream team of runners-up? Maybe Jef Holm and Courtney Robertson would feel a connection over winning their seasons, surviving messy breakups, and getting their images twisted in the public eye. Maybe not. That’s the beauty of The Bachelor in the summertime: roses wilt, love blooms, and we need to go fill up our wine/metaphor glass… See you in August!
