‘Pretty Little Liars’ Burning Questions From Season 6, Episode 9
The penultimate episode of the Pretty Little Liars summer season was something special. There was an Enchanted Forest prom, the Liars’ trolling on Instagram, and a Jenna mention to boot! Of course, it also raised some serious questions about the world of PLL. With only one more episode left in the summer season, here are the biggest burning questions we have from Season 6, Episode 9 (“Last Dance”).
If Clark is a cop, then why was he meeting with Rhys Matthews? Now that we know Clark is an undercover cop, we’re even more curious about that meeting he had with Rhys Matthews at an abandoned doll factory (you should always mention the detail that it was at an abandoned doll factory). Could Rhys also be an undercover agent? Is he an informant? Or is Clark playing the double agent, working for the “A” Team as well as the police?

Does Tanner know about this? Follow up question: is this a Tanner operation? Is she the one who put Clark on the job? Does Holbrook know about this? Where is Holbrook? So many questions about the structure of law enforcement in this town — a structure that is apparently strong enough that the force is able to fire two employees in the same week.
Where is Kenneth DiLaurentis? Guys, is Kenneth dead? It’s not looking good for Ali’s dad. His scotch was out, but he was nowhere in sight — with “A” on the premises. Did Charles finally get his dad? Or was Kenneth (wisely) just hiding from Veronica Hastings?

Did Jenna and Lucas go to prom together? The world needs to know.
Is the Carissimi Group trying to help the Liars? We’re still not sure what purpose the Carissimi Group is serving, but between Hanna’s magical scholarship and Aria’s magical scholarship, we’re beginning to think that the Liars have a financial guardian angel. Could the Carissimi Group be working to right “A”’s wrongs by trying to support the Liars’ futures?
Who is “A,” dammit?! We can’t take the wait anymore! Alison knows. Why can’t we know? (Yes, we’re using a four-year-old’s logic.) OK, we only have one more week to wait until we figure it out, and we’re going to spend that week speculating wildly.

Can the moms get their own show? Or, barring that, can they at least get some more screen-time together in future PLL episodes? This episode proved just how great the show can be when it spends time investing in supporting characters, as well as the Liars.
