12 ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Spin-Offs We’d Rather See Than Addison Derringer’s

In the Pretty Little Liars series finale (spoiler alert!), things came full circle in Rosewood as Addison Derringer went missing in the exact same way Alison DiLaurentis did back in the pilot.

It sure looked like Marlene King was setting up for a Pretty Little Liars spin-off, but frankly, we don’t need more Addison. She just never had the charisma as mean Alison.

That’s not to say we don’t want a spin-off. We just have some ideas of future Pretty Little Liars shows we’d much rather see.

In case you need some ideas, we’d love to see these 12 PLL spin-offs.

1. The Mona Vanderwaal show

We don’t care how. We don’t care where. All we care about is more Queen Mona Vanderwaal.

Marlene has actually teased a Mona spin-off, saying that we might find out what happens to Mary Drake and Alex in the Dollhouse Part Two.

Please, please make it happen.

2. Wren's side of the story

Alex Drake killed Wren and turned him into a diamond necklace, so we never got to hear straight from Dr. Kingston his side of the “A.D.” story. (We think he’d spill some tea.)

We adore Julian Morris and we think his character deserved more justice than he got at the hands of Alex, so let’s give him his chance to shine somewhere other than at the end of gold chain.

We may never find out how they got out of the basement, but we still desperately need more of the Rosewood wine moms.

While their daughters are committing crimes, maybe they can use their sleuthing skills to solve them.

4. "The Perfectionists" with Emison

We know Marlene is already planning a TV adaptation of Sara Shepard’s other high school mystery series The Perfectionists, and rumor has it Emily and Alison could appear in the show as teachers and/or parents.

We’re so on board.

How about a limited series that details everything that happened, from That Night, until Alison arrived back in Rosewood, alive? What the heck could she possibly have been doing for those two years?

Bonus: We’d get cameos from the now-dead Noel Kahn.

6. The Hastings & Hastings (& Hastings & Hastings) law procedural

Let’s take the Hastings family out of Rosewood and into Washington, D.C. and get them all embroiled in politics, law, and (most of all) family drama as Spencer, Veronica, Peter, and Melissa try to run their firm together.

Remember the baby Teddy babysitting story? We need a whole lot more of that. We can detail the dual-evil twin story from its origins, by setting it in high school, giving them love interests and family feuds, and watching to see how their drama began.

8. "Radley Sanitarium"

In a mash-up of American Horror Story: Asylum, Orange Is the New Black, and Pretty Little Liars, we get a show focused on Radley Sanitarium, before Ashley Marin turned it into a hotel.

The show would have a whole new cast, but there could be cameos from Mary Drake and eventually Spencer, Mona, Charlotte, and even Wren.

We’re 100 percent sure this crazy group had some wild times and serious drama over the years, and we want to see all of it.

Thankfully, this also means Melissa Hastings can be involved.

10. A "The Devil Wears Prada"-type sequel with Hanna

Picture this: Hanna is running a fashion empire, trying to juggle her baby and husband Caleb, and she’s managing a new crop of interns. We would absolutely watch this Miranda Priestly-but-nicer version of Hanna.

11. Bethany Young: the real story

One downfall of the Pretty Little Liars series finale is that it never gave us resolution on Bethany Young. Let’s get a TV show or miniseries about where she’s from, how she got into Radley, her creepy art career, and her involvement with the Drake/DiLaurentis family.

12. The Emison twins

We mean, when Lily and Grace grow up, their parents are going to have a lot of explaining to do about the origins of their birth. Their father is now a diamond and their conception was the result of a medical sexual assault.

Holy smokes, are these kids going to face some serious drama. Put them in high school, have cameos from the Liars, and give them a brand new story, and we would tune in every week.
