We love all of Pretty Little Liars’ constant thrills and surprises, but it always seems as though we have more questions than answers. To that end, we’ve tackled the 10 biggest questions from this week’s episode in order to figure out what’s really going on in Rosewood and to pick up on any and all clues.

Here are 10 questions from Season 3, Episode 14: “She’s Better Now.”

1. Did Jason get stabbed by Aria on the Halloween train and did he kill Garrett?
We’re not sure what’s more shocking: The fact Jason has a screwdriver-sized wound on his side, or the fact Wren wasn’t there to help mend it, seeing as Wren often seems to be the only working doctor in Rosewood. So maybe he killed Garrett but didn’t know Aria was in the box? But if Aria had stabbed Jason, wouldn’t it be on his hand? (In other words: Et tu, Jason?)

2. Did Mona start the fire?
It almost seems too obvious for Mona to have started that fire so perhaps Jason’s wound was from him nearly setting Meredith ablaze? We’re also wondering if Meredith was involved in Ali’s murder since Ali was blackmailing Byron over his relationship with her and perhaps the person who trapped Meredith in the fire was involved in killing Ali too.

3. Who was riding on that skateboard  and where was Toby’s truck?
Is it safe to assume Lucas was telling the truth about being the person who Toby was trying to run down on that skateboard? Or perhaps Jason was the skateboarder, which might have explained Jason’s injury. Either way, you’d think the “A” team would have bigger fish to fry than worrying about people on skateboards. Maybe next week they’ll tamper with someone’s pogo stick?

4. What did Mona whisper to Lucas?
There definitely seems to be an alliance between Mona and Lucas, given how Mona whispered something to him in the hall. Is Lucas involved in whatever scheme required her to come back to Rosewood High? And does this mean the whole “Hermy” nickname back in Season 1 was just a ruse? All that time we spent feeling sorry for Lucas may have been for naught.

5. Did Meredith mess with Aria’s phone?
Phones are being tampered with approximately 24/7 on PLL, so when Meredith takes Aria’s cell during class, we couldn’t help but suspect she was doing something to it. We’re also wondering if Meredith may have had an ulterior motive for wanting to teach Aria’s class in the first place. And speaking of phones, things would be so much easier if everyone in Rosewood communicated with tin cans and string.

6. Does Jason’s potential involvement with the “A” team suggest that Ali does indeed have a twin?
We don’t know if Jason is up to anything devious, but his mysterious wound and close association with Mona certainly makes him suspicious. And we can’t help but think, if he is involved with “A,” this would be a sign Ali or her twin is alive, since Jason would be helping his sister.

7. Did Byron kill Ali?
After this week’s flashback, it’s clear Byron wasn’t hooking up with Ali, but he may have had a reason to cause her harm, especially because he seems paranoid when he hears her name. But the fact Byron flew off the handle after Aria’s question about Ali doesn’t really tell us much — since Byron flies off the handle at the drop of a hat.

8. Why did Jenna suddenly transfer schools?
The girls hint Jenna may have transferred in order to protect herself from the N.A.T. Club curse that has already claimed Garrett and Ian’s lives, but we don’t really see Jenna as the type to flee. So could her disappearance mean she was involved in Garrett’s murder?

9. What the heck is Harold doing at Rosewood High?
It’s hard to say what Mona and Harold are up to these days and whether or not Harold is on her side. In a promo for next week’s episode, Mona claims Harold is stalking her, but we’re not sure that’s true. Also, did anyone else feel like Emily’s twin comment might be foreshadowing Ali’s twin’s reveal? OK, maybe that’s a stretch, but we just really want more hints about Ali’s rumored twin!

10. Should Aria tell Ezra about his son?
It bugs us that Aria refuses to tell Ezra about his child, but at the same time, Aria shouldn’t have weaseled her way into this situation in the first place. Regardless, it’s starting to seem like an Ezria break-up is probably imminent. And yes, that would be a total bummer, but as long as we still have Haleb, we’ll survive.
