It seems like all of the recent casting news has been adding numbers to the Ravenswood cast, but Pretty Little Liars just got a newbie! Rumer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, is coming to Rosewood!
Rumer will play Zoe, a worldwide charity organizer, reports The Hollywood Reporter. She is set to appear in one episode (slated for late July), but with the potential for more. Her previous roles include a recurring spot on 90210, and film credits in Sorority Row, The House Bunny, and Hostage.
How might Zoe come into play? Well, THR describes Zoe as “the type of girl who will change the world and keep her sense of humor at the same time,” which doesn’t tell us much about her storyline (though makes her sound like a fun person to hang with). The Liars are almost through with high schools and will be contemplating their future. Will Zoe play a part in that storyline? Could one of our Liars be considering a future in the non-profit sector? Perhaps under the assumption that “A's" omniscience might not reach to developing countries...
According to the official episode synopsis,“Emily starts to make plans for life after high school” in the Season 4 premiere. She’s also shown an interest in charity work in the past. She spent the summer following Maya’s death building houses in Haiti. Could she be ignoring a potential swim scholarship to go a more non-traditional route post-high school?
