Hanna and Caleb’s relationship was relatively drama-free in Pretty Little Liars Season 3, but we think they may make up for it in Season 4 thanks to Caleb’s imminent departure to Ravenswood. What can we expect from the long-term Rosewood couple in the upcoming season? Read on to find out!

Caleb is Hanna’s Rock

Well, Caleb isn’t set to leave until the Season 4 Halloween episode, so we still have a solid half-season of Haleb romance, and it sounds like we will be getting it. According to PLL showrunner Marlene King, “Caleb is Hanna’s rock all summer long.” Ashley told Wetpaint: “They're in a good place. I mean we kind of go through ups and downs this season, because Hanna's just going through a lot personally, and Caleb's trying to help. She doesn't want it. It's tough, but they'll make it through.” We think Hanna might need Caleb’s support given that we are apparently going to hate Ashley Marin this season, and that it will be Hanna’s turn to play “A’s” pretty little target.

Haleb’s “Beautiful Moment”

The good news is: we will be getting a “beautiful moment” for Haleb. The bad news? It will most likely be the result of Caleb’s departure from Rosewood. According to Marlene, Hanna will give Caleb permission to leave Rosewood, a la Casablanca: "Hanna and Caleb are such a great couple and we've designed this beautiful Casablanca moment for them," Marlene recently told ET Online. "Hanna really gives Caleb permission to leave Rosewood and, basically, go to this other show. I hope our fans embrace it as much as we've embraced it as writers. That's important to us.” Sounds heartwrenching.

Hanna’s Visit to Ravenswood

We’re not sure how this ties in with Caleb’s move, but we recently discovered that Hanna will be making a visit to Ravenswood. Ashley said she will go to the nearby town once, and that it will not be in the same trip as Spencer and Toby. Could Hanna be visiting Caleb? Will her trip mark some kind of crossover ep? We’re particularly intrigued by this spoiler and Rosewood’s connection to Ravenswood.

Compared to some of the other couples on PLL, the Powers That Be have been relatively tight-lipped about Haleb’s storyline in Season 4 aside from Caleb’s departure. Does this mean the couple will be relatively drama-free in the beginning of Season 4? We kind of hope so. We want some more lovely moments to remember this couple by.

Are you looking forward to Haleb in Season 4 or are all pre-departure scenes just going to be pure torture? Let us know in the comments below!
