He was only in a few episodes during Pretty Little Liars’ Season 3, but we quickly took a liking to Andrew Campbell (Brandon W. Jones), Spencer’s academic decathlon teammate and strip trivia opponent. He was there for Spence when she was dealing with Toby’s seeming betrayal, and not in a condescending or enabling manner. He called Spencer out on her behavior, while still giving her a chance to prove herself. With Toby back in the picture, is there still a chance for Andrew to make another PLL appearance?
Brandon W. Jones recently spoke to the Examiner about his potential future on the show.
"Since Andrew was introduced on the show there have been a lot of rumors circulating about what’s gonna happen with him and Spencer, but know one knows for sure," Brandon explained. "Including me!"
He added, "of course I have hopes that Andrew will make a return this season, but for now, it's a mystery."
Luckily, in the meantime, we can catch Brandon in a few other projects. His web series, Trainers, about a struggling L.A. gym and the misfits who work there, is available to watch now. Brandon’s multi-episode arc on the ABC Family summer drama, The Fosters, will be happening in July. He is also working on a secret film project, currently in its third week of production. It’s all very mysterious.
“I can't say too much about it as of now, but I will say it is a huge undertaking,” said Brandon. “This is my first leading role in a film and I'm very excited to be working with some unbelievably talented people. It's really coming together and this role will be radically different from any others I've played in the past.” So, no strip trivia then?
