Pretty Little Liars has produced more than 80 episodes, many full of unexpected twists and horrifying thrills. But which episode has Lucy Hale (Aria) called the “most shocking” episode ever?

“I just read the Halloween episode that takes us to Ravenswood, and I have to tell you, that is the most shocking episode we've ever done,” Lucy told ETonline. “I had chills reading it. There's so much in the Halloween episode that will make people really unhappy. But it's so good. And it's the best written episode we've ever done. You're actually going to die. It's so good.”

Eek! We both can’t wait and never want it to come. The Season 4 Halloween episode will mark the departure of Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) from Rosewood as he moves from PLL to Ravenswood, and Lucy’s promise that “there’s so much that will make people unhappy” doesn’t exactly have us clamoring for its arrival.

Still, phrases like “best written episode” and “most shocking” can’t help but appeal to our PLL love, especially given that last season’s Halloween special may have been our favorite episode of the entire season. Can PLL really top a death-defying (for some...RIP, Garrett) train ride that saw Aria nearly pushed to her death mid-journey?

What else do we know about the Halloween special? Well, Ezra will definitely be in it, and hopefully be given more to do this season than last when he spent most of the episode off-screen at a ”job interview.” Will the source of our unhappiness have anything to do with Ezra? Will all of the Liars be helping Caleb move to Ravenswood (from Luce’s phrasing, it sounds like they might all be making the trip)? And can we expect another death in this Halloween special? Based on Lucy’s reaction, it sounds like anything could happen.
