Rosewood isn't exactly a normal world, what with the all murder, stalkers, and big bad secrets. It's a heightened universe, and that's part of the fun. Even with that in mind there are occasionally moments on Pretty Little Liars that make us stop and say "really?"
"A's” Magic deleting powers. OK, fine, maybe we should just accept that "A" is all powerful when it come to technology. But really, s/he starts deleting Mona's files just as the second Queen of Hearts is about to reveal his/her face on the video? Convenient.
Do those little girls not have parents? Seriously ... why were the Liars' "mini-mes" just playing by themselves in an apparently empty mobile home lot the middle of the day? We guess "Alison" did a good job hand-picking five little girls who not only like each other and look enough like the Liars to be creepy, but also all have negligent parents.
Toby! Talk to Spencer! OK, this is less a logic fail than an annoyance, but why oh why did Toby not tell Spencer about the things "A" was texting him? Hasn't he learned by now that it's easier to fight "A" when you work together?
Let's just go to Stanford! Listen, we loved Paige and Emily's decision to go to college together and their declaration of love. It was amazingly sweet. But you don't just decide to go to Stanford at the drop of a hat. Apparently Paige got in, but that doesn't mean Em can just "come with [her]." Even if Em's swimming skills really are good enough, it's one of the hardest schools to get admitted to in the country — less than 6% of applicants get in. That number is higher for athletes, we're sure, but it's not like academics don't matter at all. We hope she picks a safety school nearby!
