On the Pretty Little Liars Season 4 premiere (Season 4, Episode 1: "'A' Is for A-l-i-v-e") we learned that Wilden has been murdered. However, we don't know who did the deed. And you know what that means: Time to start speculating.

Before we get to the guessing, let's go over what we know about the murder. According to the police report in the newspaper, Wilden was killed between 10 and midnight on the night of the fire. He was shot multiple times and then moved to where the body was found. We also know that Shana and Jenna were seen rescuing him after Ashley Marin hit him with her car (which was prior to the murder, obviously).

OK. That settled, here are our top four suspects in Wilden's death.

Ashley Marin. We find Ashley the most unlikely of the people listed here, just because we don't really think she would murder someone ... but we do know she'll go far to protect herself and her family, so we can't totally discount her. She could get into a lot of trouble for hitting Wilden with her car, so if he threatened her, maybe she decided he had to go. She's been MIA at just the right time for it (yes, she's supposedly at a work conference, but lying is right there in the title of the show).

Melissa Hastings. According to Mona, Melissa was the Queen of Hearts along with Wilden, and it's clear they have a complicated history. Mona said that Jenna and Shana are "scared" of Melissa, which means she's dangerous. Maybe Melissa decided Wilden knew too much or was going to get her in trouble, and decided to eliminate the problem.

Jason DiLaurentis. Jason has been MIA ever since he disappeared from the hospital after almost dying in the elevator shaft — sure, he's supposedly down south, but again, lying. Last time we saw him, he was furious at Wilden, because he thought Wilden had gotten Ali pregnant. Did he decide to take revenge?

Red Coat/Big "A". It would appear Big "A" is using Wilden's death to torment the Liars. Does that mean s/he did the deed him/herself, or is s/he just taking advantage of a murder someone else committed? We wouldn't put anything past Big "A"....
