Daytime soap star Kamar de los Reyes has been cast in a guest-starring role on Pretty Little Liars. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor — best known for his work in One Life to Live — will be playing Emily’s (Shay Mitchell) swim coach.

We assume Kamar will be filling the role of the Olympic-training swim coach we recently reported on. The coach is set to cross path with Emily in Season 4, Episode 9: “Into the Deep.” According to the casting call, the coach is also “something of a drill sergeant,” which means Ems might not have as much time for “A”-hunting while she concentrates on her future.

It makes us happy to hear that Emily’s dream of becoming a world-class swimmer is still alive and well after her swimming accident in Season 4, Episode 2: “Turn of the Shoe.” However, something tells us “A” is not going to let Emily swim off into the sunset as easily as she’d like.

Kamar’s coach character will appear on August 6, which is mere days away. In addition to One Life to Live, the actor is also known for his turns in Valley of the Dolls, Blue Bloods, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and ER.
