Pretty Little Liarslast Halloween episode is a hard act to follow. There was murder, mayhem, and mystery and all of it happened on a moving train! Still, we think PLL might be up to the near impossible task, especially given Marlene King’s recent tweet. What did the PLL showrunner have to say about the rough cut of the Season 4 Halloween special?

“I cannot tell a lie. Saw the first cut of the Halloween episode tonight. There are no words. Only letters.  OMG!” Marlene tweeted last night.

Marlene may be a bit biased when it comes to her own television show, but we still think this episode has the potential to be amazing. Not only will the Halloween episode (apparently, not actually set on Halloween) presumably contain some PLL shockers, but it will also introduce the upcoming spin-off, Ravenswood. The episode will see the introduction of three Ravenswood characters, and the departure of Caleb. Even though we’re dreading the latter event, we’re still dying to find out how it goes down and how Caleb is connected to the mysterious curse of Ravenswood.

Marlene isn’t the only PLLer who has expressed excitement about the Halloween episode. Last week, Lucy Hale (Aria) called the episode “the most shocking episode” yet and “the best written episode we’ve ever done.” We can’t wait to judge for ourselves.
