Sure, we’re interested in finding out who “A” really is, but that (hopefully) final reveal will feel incomplete without a valid explanation for “A”’s frankly appalling treatment of the Liars. Will we find out why “A” is so darn mean to the Liars before Pretty Little Liars finishes its run? Marlene King says...
Marlene tweeted a response to a fan’s question on whether we would eventually discover “A”’s questionable motivations yesterday, and she answered in the affirmative. Phew! That’s a load off of our minds.
At this point, it’s difficult to speculate on “A”’s reasons for being such a stone cold witch when it comes to the Liars while his/her identity is still hidden, but it’s going to have to be good. For example, we’ve written before about our concern over Ali’s alive/dead status and how we kind of hope she’s dead if being alive means being “A” and, therefore, The Worst Friend in the History of Friendship. Whether it’s Ali or not, we trust Marlene & Co. to wow us with a suitable backstory that both makes total sense, yet manages to surprise us. No pressure.
What do you think “A”’s motivations are? Are you relieved to know they will be revealed? Let us know in the comments below!
